This cell phone antenna covers digital, analog and PCS cell phone bands in an eight-foot radome that coordinates with other Shakespeare Galaxy antennas. Electrical connections are hand soldered for reliability. A brass choking sleeve eliminates pattern distortion due to cable radiation. Use one of Shakespeares CPA Series adapters (sold separately) to connect your portable cellphone.

All Galaxy® Dual Band Cellular antennas feature Shakespeares exclusive Lo-Max® Cable. This flexible, UV stable coax provides low-loss characteristics near that of larger RG-8 A/U and RG-213, but without the extra bulk and rigidity.

Choose a mounting location that is as high as feasible, as free as possible from obstructions, and as far as possible from other antennas and strong sources of RF.

The Style 5237-XT is a Galaxy® Series, collinear-phased, ½-wave dual-band cellular marine antenna of 8’ overall length. Style 5238-XT is the same, but with a black Galaxy® finish. All are one-section antennas with stainless steel ferrules. The antennas have brass and copper radiators for extra high efficiency.
